Sponsor a Child

Dear Sponsor,

Fit n fun Tumblebus, Inc. has been servicing the Detroit Tri-county area since 1994.  We, Vicki Paret and Therese Myers, started this unique fitness program when we saw a need in our community to “Get Kids Moving.”  The Tumblebus is a full sized school bus converted into a mobile gym for kids.  Our buses are climate controlled and completely outfitted with fun equipment designed to stimulate and encourage children to exercise.

Children today just don’t get enough physical activity and the result is that childhood obesity and diabetes are a great concern nationwide.
 
The state of our economy has prevented many children from receiving the physical fitness activities and nutritious food that they need to begin and develop lifelong healthy habits.

It is our mission to reach as many children in need as possible and continue providing a fun fitness program that would enhance the lives of children.

The Tumblebus currently services approximately forty schools and day care centers.  We see as many as five hundred children a week. 

There are children in your area that cannot participate in the Tumblebus program at their centers because their family cannot afford this beneficial program.  Although we offer assistance to many children, the need today has become so great that we cannot offer assistance to all the children that could use it. We are asking for your help reaching more children.
 
To sponsor a child in your area it would require a small donation from you. 
You may sponsor a child to participate for one year or one month.  You can also make a donation to provide the Tumblebus to a head start or at risk school for a onetime special event or an annual program.

Your help will bring a healthy smile and a memorable experience to a child in need.
